Data Handling and Processing

The purpose of the data analysis software is to retrieve the line of sight wind vectors from the instrument measurements and distribute them to UNH in a timely manner. The software system additionally supports instrument calibration and data validation tasks. To perform these functions, the software system is partitioned into the tasks shown below. These tasks are telemetry data ingestion, determination of spectral parameters, retrieval of the line of sight wind vectors, archival storage of the data, distribution of data, calibration analysis, and validation support.
