12. Instrument Control Graphical
User Interface (GUI)
Operation of the Groundwinds Control Program is controlled by the Instrument
Control Program. It provides a graphical user interface that:
- Allows remote operation of the system, including power management
of all hardware.
- Allows the operator to execute scanfiles
- Displays a graph of windspeed versus altitude
- Displays operational and command response messages from the Groundwinds
Control Program
- Allows the user to bring up windows which display current images
of the fringes from the CCD cameras as well as continuously updated
telemetry from the Groundwinds hardware.
